COFFEE LOVERS SINCE 1948
Granfather Carlo Govoni started up our family business in 1948. Having decided to switch on the roasting machine bought before the war, he opened a coffee shop in the heart of Ferrara and started roasting coffee beans. The name of that small shop was "La Brasiliana" .
Coffee was home delivered by Ailù, a black man wearing a red, blue buttoned jacket. Ailù's portrait has been the main symbol of La Brasiliana for many years. Our modern logo still evokes his features and jacket.
In the 60s' Carlo's sons Nino, Tina, Corrado e Tino developed coffee blends and set up industrial processes. La Brasiliana was fast growing and moved to the new headquarter in Ferrara.
Giancarlo and Pierluigi Govoni are now leading the company, proudly supplying more than 700 customers in Italy and all over the world.

We felt in love with coffee in 1948 and we treasure our heritage. We careffully care roasting processes, to make every cup givinig off the unique aroma of our blends. We carry out daily roasting cycles, to supply the freshest coffee to our customers.

We declare both origin and green coffee varieties mixed in our blends. We are strongly convinced that our know-how represents the key factor of the unique, inmistakeable La Brasiliana aroma.
